We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Commis Chefs to join our professional kitchen team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their culinary skills while working in
a fast-paced hospitality environment alongside experienced chefs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes.
- Prepare ingredients and ensure all food preparation is completed before service begins
- Support the Chef de Partie and senior chefs during busy service periods.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Follow food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Keep workstations clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and minimising food waste.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Kitchen Assistant is preferred but not essential.
- Passion for cooking and a willingness to learn and develop.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent time management.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
