Join Our Front Office Team!
We are looking for a professional, friendly, and customer-focused Front Office Receptionist to join
our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in delivering an
exceptional guest experience by providing a warm welcome and efficient front desk service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring an outstanding first
impression. - Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and room allocations efficiently.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Operate the Opera Cloud/Opera PMS system for reservations, room assignments, billing,
and guest profiles. - Answer telephone calls, emails, and process reservations accurately.
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate billing records.
- Liaise with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance teams to ensure excellent
guest service. - Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area at all times.
- Follow hotel procedures, cash handling policies, and data protection requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Front Office Receptionist or in a similar hotel reception role.
- Experience using Opera Cloud or Opera Property Management System (PMS) is
essential. - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance with a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
