We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and motivated Kitchen Porters to join our professional
hospitality team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment,
supporting chefs and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards
of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Receive and safely store deliveries in accordance with food safety procedures.
- Dispose of waste and recycling correctly, keeping work areas clean and organised.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and workstations are cleaned and sanitised regularly.
- Follow food hygiene, health & safety, and COSHH procedures at all times.
- Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is preferred but not essential, as full training will be
provided. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and busy kitchen environment.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
